Light Test With Blinds

I really liked the way the light came out when testing it on Sketchup. When i added in colour it really puts the blinds into perspective and is a really effective use of natural light and gives people in the room a rough idea of the time of day which could be a handy feature. When the blinds are not wanted, curtain can easily cover them to take out all natural light.

Blinds

After a summary with Kate we talked about incorporating the element of light into my model. I decided i would use blinds to portray my spatial gesture. originally i tried to use the paint splats with the blinds but with so many gaps it was really hard to design blinds that would actually function. I decided to simplify the gesture into circle. I really liked the way they came out as i think the circles would look better than the paint splat figures in terms of letting through light.
